Meet Your Professor
Liselle Beaulon was born on September 18th in Cannes, France where her family had a small winery, "Château de Beaulon". Built in 1480 by the de Vinsons family, the Chateau became the property of the “de Beaulon” family in 1510 and their name remains today. The family name is one associated with Wizardry and herbology through the decades since its inception in the late 1400's. Raised in the world of magic with Franco-Germanic heritage, the Beaulon family has retained connections to the mortal world with their business, according a comprehension of both worlds. During her early life, Liselle attended "La Jeune Sorcière", an academy to train young girls who have magical backgrounds in hopes of attending an academy like Hogwarts or Beauxbâtons; and when the time came, she was admitted to and graduated from Beauxbâtons. She was a tomboy growing up and did her fair share of climbing trees, catching frogs and tadpoles and getting scrapes on her knees. Her love was for the outdoors and the more that she could do the better.
After receiving her accreditation in teaching and passing her internship, Liselle spent a year traveling the globe, trying to perfect a discipline of magical anthropology and in search of new methods of divination. She was invited to teach at Beauxbatons and did so for two years before she was invited to Hogwarts. She is now in her 5th year at Hogwarts, and has been able to design and run her own curriculum based on her own philosophy.
Her private life is rather simple, though not to be understated. She lives her boyfriend and her two cats, enjoys cooking, pottery and antiquitie.
