Rules of the Classroom
Overall Course Grading
Students must earn 100 points over the term. Students must post 2 times per lesson (5 points per post = 10 points per lesson x 5 lessons = 50 points) and complete at least one paragraph per 5 rituals (10 points per paragraph - 1 paragraph per lesson x 5 rituals = 50 points).
Your overall course grade will be combined participation & ritual work which is REQUIRED. Students must earn 100 combined points between ritual and participation. Ritual work is RP-based in your journals similar to missions and both are required for this course. This is the official O.W.L. & N.E.W.T. testing scale for the class. This is so students become familiar with the scores and the grades; this system was established in the HP Universe and is used throughout Hogwarts. Anyone achieving an "O" in the course will earn an additional 50 points (to the max class points of 500 points).
Quills
Students who complete the course successfully will be awarded one quill at the end of the term. An Honors section quill may be available.
