Lesson Three:
Ritual of the Middle Pillar
First, ensure that you have performed the relaxation technique and the LBRP (Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram). The purpose of the Middle Pillar is to channel energy. Once you have channeled the energy into your heart (Step Nine) it can be used outward for either healing, spells, or dark purposes. It is a ritual in ten parts.
The Middle Pillar by itself is an energy focusing work and should be utilized any time that you need a lot of power for another ritual. Its main focus is for healing and purification, but like any magic, it can have dark purposes. In this way, the LBRP clears and purifies your space; letting you have a pure space to work with.
Preparation:
Stand in your ritual location, after having performed your LBRP and face West. Arms are stretched out straight to both sides, your wand in your hand of power. On your right (the North) is the Black Pillar of Severity; on your left (the South) is the White Pillar of Mercy. You stand in between as the Middle Pillar of Balance, ready to collect energy.
Step One:
Strike your wand skyward. Incantation: Ain Soph Aur! ("Light of the Infinite Self"). A blindingly brilliant light, the Light of the Infinite Self originates far above your head, coming from the Crown. The colour may different depending on the witch or wizard. (Crown Chakra)
Step Two:
Draw both hands down and point them left; one hand should be outstretched, and the other holding your wand and pointing it in the same direction about shoulder height. The light descends to the top of your forehead, (Third-Eye Chakra) forming a sphere about the size of your head as the light graces your third eye. Incantation: Eh-Ei-Eh! ("I AM") very strongly, repeating the words THREE TIMES.
Step Three:
When this is felt strongly, allow the light to descend to the center (Throat Chakra) and draw both of your hands to your right, pointing your wand and your hand about shoulder height. Incantation: Yeh-Iv-eh-Elohhim! (I Am the Mighty One), feeling your wand pulse with energy.
Step Four:
Allow the Light to descend further to the heart center (Heart Chakra). Keep one hand close to your heart, and with your hand of power circle swish your wand clockwise once, and point to your left hip. Incantation: Yeh-Iv-Eloah-Ve-DAATH!! (I Am the Lord of Knowledge.) The power in your wand should continue to increase, the pulsing a bit stronger.
Step Five:
Allow the Light to descend to the naval (Solar Plexus Chakra)at your stomach. Push your off hand downward, towards your naval. Circle swish your wand clockwise once, and point to your right hip. Incantation: Shaddai El CHAI!! (Lord of Life.) Again, there should be a continuation of the grow of power.
Step Six:
Allow the Light to descend further, near the groin area (Sacral Chakra). Draw both hands together, settled in front of you and pointing downwards at about your middle point. Incantation: El-huiv Ha-Mnuah! (Lord of the Spirit.)
Step Seven:
Allow the Light to descend further, through the root center, (Root Chakra) and drop to your left knee, one hand touching the ground. Circle your wand clockwise once in a swish and tap the ground in front of your left knee. See the light shine all the way down to the earth, gaining density as it progresses. Incantation:Adni Ha-Aretz! (Lord of the Earth.) The light should be building around you.
Step Eight:
Allow the Light to descend further, through the root center, (Root Chakra) and drop to your right knee as well, now on both knees. One hand remains touching the ground. Circle your wand clockwise once in a swish and tap the ground in front of your right knee. Incantation: ahn-Suez el-V'ehgeh Boh! (Lord of the Sky!.) The light should be shining around you.
Step Nine:
Now, the light should be surrounding you. You should feel the radiance and the power building; you should feel the pulse of your Chakra's and the energy of each if you focus a moment. Drop and touch the ground with your forehead and rise, taking your wand in both hands and pointing it downward in front of you. The tip should touch the ground. Incantation: Eihwaz al-IOA! (Lord of All!.) The light should be shining around you.
Step Ten:
Rise from the ground and complete the incantation by drawing your wand all the way from the ground up to the raised position, high above your head once more. Incantation: Eh-Ei-Eh! Eh-Ei-Eh! Eh-Ei-Eh! (I Am! I Am! I Am!) The light will flex, and ascend unto your heart, where it becomes established in fullness.
The ritual is now complete, and you may use it to perform healing, protective, or other magical tasks. Remember, to always end your magical rituals before you leave your sacred space by performing the Finite Incatatem charm:
Finite Incantatem
Wand Work: Sharp strike of your wand to the ground
Incantation: Finite Incantatem!
Function: Stop ALL current spells - Multiple Spells
